    Re: Indesit we16 Fault

Martin – Good to hear from one of the poor and needy flock! I see that Pamber Heath is 34.5 miles from me here in Lockerley (near Salisbury, but in Hampshire) so I guess that travel costs would rule against asking you to fix my washing machine…

Finance problems caused by having 4 daughters still at school! 😆

Humour is no problem – after my 19 years in the Royal Air Force (as an avionics/armament engineer) I learnt that a Vicar’s life would be good. Only work Sundays, as you say, and only one AP (Air Publication=instruction manual=Bible) and no amendments.

Still plenty of vacancies for the job – see your local vicar for more info

I suspect that the CofE does pay less well than a white goods service engineers. Pay is £30 per day (although that is every day) – about £2.50 per hour. I would expect to pay a service engineer a lot more than that ❗

    Thanks again

Thanks to Dave for the rapid response.
Postcode is SO51 0JF – being a poor vicar (!) am keen to get machine back working at minimum cost…
New to area so have no knowledge of good local engineers… 🙄
