    Re: Bosch wfk 2801 1.cancel a started program? & 2.delay t

Turns out I’m an idiot, if you select a time on the timer you don’t press the start button- it immediately starts “counting down”. If you press start it starts immediately.
As said (thankyou) The way to cancel is to move the dial to the no prog x and press start
    Obvious really.

Thanks for the reply. Other than the fact that it’s starting immediately even if a delay is selected, there isn’t really a fault in the operation of the machine. I was sort of expecting that there was a “secret handshake” to clear the program, like pressing some buttons while switching it on.
I shouldn’t say this as tempting fate, but it’s been pretty reliable other than a leak from the filter (cured by cleaning) and a faulty on/off switch which I disassembled and repaired.
I’ll have a look at the selector switch next time I have the top off, but it’s frustrating to have to go through the shortest program once it’s started in error. I even tried disconnecting the mains but sadly it has a better memory than me!
    Thanks
