😥 More info – I’ve hit the fast freeze button to turn it off and the freezer display is now a flashing 18. Other numbers are 8586 154 15010 and 11 0421 022442. Thanks for any advice.

🙁 Found this forum when my Whirlpool S20DRSS10 temp lights started flashing. I see that it’s a common problem. Last night my freezer alarm went off and the freezer temp display went ‘–‘. I hit the fast freeze button and it’s staying cold but still in fast freeze mode. I’ve had this appliance since Jan 2005 having bought it as a ‘Manager Special’ in Comet..now I know why they were keen to get rid of it. I’m feeling wary of paying £250+ to get it fixed. Any advice is welcome.
