OK so whats the safest fix , a new relay ?

as a new PCB has the same fault , is it just as good to rely on my skillfull re solder or could the relay be damaged

i could do without a burnt out house

    Re: Zanussi DE 6854 Problem

Hello Guys , as Im new I will get the drinks in , whats everybody want while I am at the virtual bar 😀

Again, I have the DE6850 and have discovered the same blackened melted solder on the PCB , thanks to this site , and have re soldered the contact , amd have taken note of the fire issue

and being a H&S nutter feel I should ask , if I get a new PCB as that seems safest, although it is 3 years old and has only just gone
are newer replacement boards jazzed up to deal with this issue

as if its the same , it is no diff to my fix

I dont fancy trying to add a new relay , as this seems a bit much for me , although i did find soldering back the little bit i needed too easy

or is a new PCB designed to cope and the fault has been sorted

so what should i be thinking of ❓

    Rich
