ParticipantThanks Dave, so I guess it’s all now working as it should and the only way to confirm is cook something in the oven and check to see if the fan remains on for 20 mins or so after it’s been turned off.

ParticipantTo help me understand better, when the cooling fan turn on for a fully working oven? Should it turn on as soon as a cooking mode is selected? Or just when the oven has reached temperature?

ParticipantThanks Dave. I’m a bit confused as the oven still turns on with one wire removed from the stat and the cooling fan still spins? Does this mean I potentially have the wrong part?
This was the part that I ordered following andyjawa advise. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/163414043583?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=nLrjacJrQQO&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=9MKG2muKRUy&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

ParticipantGreat thanks Dave. That’s exactly what I did. So the idea is that cooling fan should turn on immediately with one wire disconnected and with both wires connected it should behave exactly the same. If there is a problem with the stat like what I previously had the fan would constantly operate. I guess the true test is seeing if the fan remains on for 20 mins or so after cooking and then turns off.

ParticipantThank you very andyjawa. Do you have an instructions on how I can access the thermostat that I need to replace?
