I have a very similar fault. When we moved house, our G6655 wouldn’t fill to cover the element so it would run cold. A local engineer and I worked out that it filled fully when the machine was pulled out of the bay so thought it was a kinked hose when it was pushed in under the counter. We tied string to the hose and pulled on it to keep the hose from kinking and it reproductions for a year.

one year on and it started now fully filling again. I haven’t moved the machine so can’t work out what’s caused the change. I pulled it out and the next wash was fully filled and the heater came on but put it back and it didnt , pulled it out again and now it won’t duly fill in or out so I now don’t think it is a kinked hose. I’ve felt along the inlet hose and it feels fine.

any suggestions very gratefully received!
