no no the fan did move and was securley fix with a clip on the end, its was all just a mystery, the new fan shaft was longer and the original fan blade would not fit on the new shaft it seamed thicker, so i forced it on being carful not to push it through my hand.
the shaft was also longer and the fan blade stuck further out into the plastic housing,

    thanks

Ok Now All Sorted And Working :

When i bought a new fan motor i had to strip it down and use the old spindle because the fan blade would not fit, so after a day still no joy of working, then o thought lets get the parts that i did not fit and forced the fan blade onto the spindle, then i found out that the spindle was longer but it did not matter so i fitted it all back together and hey presto, within a hour the fridge was getting cooler, after 2 hours its down to +2, great .

thanks for all you nice people out there,

    Great forum

    Dave.

Now listen, Wozzer – one problem, one thread. Plaster posts all over the place and not a lot happens, except the Mods get upset trying to pull it all back together. This is your thread; it may or may not solve your problem, but if it’s happening, this is where it’s at. OK?

    Penguin45.

Yes Both Fans Are Running OK But No Airflow, I have even removed the baffel and still nothing, any ideas,

ps : sorry about all the threads : pretty new to this site.

Re: Further Info on ff92s overheat

so far i have just changed the fan motor, even though the first one worked but it was causing the thermal component to get very warm in the pcb at the top of the fridge display, this only run for about 60secs, i have now installed a new motor and hey presto, the thermal component is not overheating and fan running longer,
just need to wait to see if fridge cools down, this may have rectified the fault finally after changing nearly all components.

    thanks guys

where would i find the damper motor
the thermal fuse cools down when i disconnect the fan, even though it runs for about 60secs then stops this is when the thermal fuse heats up
