Dave, thanks for your reply. The baffle has been replaced and I have confirmed that it opens and closes as required, however still no airflow into the fridge.
If the PCB is the electronic circuit board that control the LCD etc then that too has been replaced by a Hotpoint engineer – as has the fan and the interor back panel of the freezer compartment.
Does the direction of the fan matter? It definitely operates anti-clockwise – which doesn’t seem right to me. As the fan was replaced recently, could it be that the engineer has wired it wrongly causing it to rotate in reverse?
