ParticipantRe: new kitchen..appliance origin query
Dual zone coolers/cellar is significantly more expensive. As I am kitting out a new kitchen, I am afraid it is a luxury that I cannot stretch to. Would prefer spending the monies on steam oven or warming drawer….unless my numbers come out ( small problem.. got to buy the tickets first!!!)

ParticipantRe: new kitchen..appliance origin query
Thanks for above information. I am not a huge wine drinker, but quite fancy the idea of a small wine storage. Unfortunately, CDA/Caple are the only make I am aware of producing 300mm wide coolers. Maybe I should just plunge for a standard 600mm. More brands available.
I note the Bosch/Siemens?Neff etc in the MFI carries a prefix of AXXXXX for model number. Certainly most of the items there were made in Germany? Or could it be that the parts are manufactured elsewhere, but assembled in Gerany??
Thanks again.zleon
ParticipantRe: Best make of fridge/freezer?
I am looking to buy a fridge/freezer, probably at the ned of the year. Actually, I will be looking a new kitchen fiited, except for my freestanding bosch dishwasher.
Back to the cooler thread, I was thinking of the Bosch american style fridge/freezer. Then, I was encouraged to buy from a local independent the GE american fridge/freezer which has a 5 year warranty….but these are made in Mexico. Any advise, or even options? Maximum budget would be £1500. in Belfast??? The bigger the capacity, the better….
Will post query about other items on the appropriate forums -
