With effect from 2nd January 2004 all GIAS spares will increase by 3%. This will be the second price increase on spares in a year.
GIAS advise that any orders placed up until 31st December 2003 will be invoiced at the current prices. It is also stated that the GIAS computer system will not issue credit notes against 2003 prices from the 2nd January 2004. Whether this means that credit notes are unavailable against purchases made in 2003 or that they will be issued at 2004 pricing is unclear.
Stores at Bolton are also on a stock-take from the 12th to the 14th of December.
A new price list is promised in due course.
