Whilst Hoover got over 200,000 applicants flights a further 350,000 may have been owed their free flight. These days the mere mention of ‘Done a Hoover’ sends a shudder down the back of the head honcho. Orange are staying tight lipped at the moment on its free flight offer.
The truth is nobody in the promotion industry wants to do a ‘Hoover’. Orange has only just launched the promotion set to run until the 13th September, its already had 10,000 people apply & is limited to the first 20,000 customers who apply. Harry Cichy who lead the battle & litigation against Hoover said: ” Sometimes a free offer may be to good to be true.” Existing customers and new ones who sign up to £30 a month contract are eligible for a free flight. I wonder if Harry will be tempted by the Orange offer.
