At its annual presentation of medium-term plans to the management in Fabriano, the Indesit Company officially announced its new organisation, which will come into force on 1st January 2012.
The new organisation model will be based on three business divisions: “Food Treatment”, covering all activities and products relating to the treatment of food, “Home Care”, covering all activities and products relating to management of the home, and “Services & Consumer Care”, which will build on the Company’s know-how as a service provider. Reporting directly to the CEO, these new divisions will operate alongside the existing corporate functions to strengthen operating capacity and widen the Company’s sphere of action, which will also involve looking at new businesses related to the current ones.
The new Food Treatment and Home Care divisions will pool their various capabilities to create a single process of product innovation, development, industrialization and marketing, while the new Service & Consumer Care division will guarantee assistance for customers and also develop other product related services.
Andrea Crenna, currently Chief Financial Officer, is to become Chief Division Officer, Food Treatment; Massimo Rosini, currently Chief Technical Officer, will be Chief Division Officer, Home Care; and Francesco Trovato, currently Chief Marketing Officer, will be Chief Division Officer, Services & Consumer Care.
The current Group Planning & Control Director, Stefano Cavacini, will become Chief Financial Officer.
Marco John Rota, Brand & Consumer Marketing Director, will report directly in that role to the CEO, as will Antonino Gambuzza, the current Industrial Area Director, who is to become Manufacturing Director.
