The Milan-based firm is planning to shift its production lines out of Poland and Italy and into Turkey within the next three years because reliable Turkish parts manufacturers help lower production costs, said Milani. Indesit is also planning to increase the production capacity of its plant in Turkey’s western city of Manisa from the current 900,000 units each year to 1.2 million by 2010.
