JEAN-NOEL LABROUE, the chief executive of Kesa Electricals, will more than double his pay to £800,000 and receive shares worth an additional £890,000 when the company demerges from Kingfisher next month.
Kesa, which will own 790 stores across Europe including Comet in Britain and Darty in France, will demerge on July 7. An extraordinary general meeting of Kingfisher shareholders will be held on July 4 to approve the move, which is intended to allow the parent group to focus on its DIY chains, which include B&Q and Castorama in France
