This news item makes us a little saddened that even the mighty Miele has been forced to bow to the overwhelming demand for bagless cleaners and, finally produce one to compete with Dyson.
We know, there’s other bagless cleaners out there apart from Dyson but let’s face it, they own the space even if we don’t think that they are the best cleaners, along with most of the trade and virtually all professional cleaners. With very good reason, bagless cleaners aren’t as good.
But Miele have succumbed to the pressure, caved in and made one.
Despite Markus Miele saying in the past, quite categorically that; “Bagless vacuum cleaning is not an option for our company.” it seems they now are. To be fair though, Miele have held out for more than three decades since that statement was made.
With any luck Miele’s effort will be a better bet than a Dyson.
The new Miele Blizzard CX1 is being touted at IFA Berlin 2016 and is expected to cost about £270 here in the UK when it arrives but we don’t have a specific UK launch date presently.
