In a news item this morning the Whitegoods Trade Association (WTA) has said that new entrant to the appliance market, Montpellier Appliances, has chosen to opt for WTA members as their preferred partners for field service requirements.

The new range of products includes tumble dryers, dishwashers (including integrated and slimline dishwashers) and fridge freezers including an attractive American styled fridge freezer model as shown below.
Service and the repair agents carrying out work for the brand is entirely controlled by Montpellier and some service calls have already found their way to WTA members. Whilst low volume (for now) service requirements are expected to grow as the brand increases its sales base.
It is fair to say that the guys over at the WTA are extremely pleased to have won this contract work for their members who had first refusal on the contract work for Montpellier just as they did for Amica a year or so ago. We did ask if there was liable to be more work for members in the future along similar lines but to no avail, they refused to tell us of any future contracts that were looking at using WTA members.
The full article reporting the development can be found on the WTA website where you can also find more information on the WTA, the largest trade association of appliance repairers with over 150 members.

Montpellier is an exclusive brand to DAD and only available through independent electrical retailers at this time.
