Polish manufacturer Amica, as a part of their UK expansion, have announced the start of a program to allow appliance retailers to service products that they have sold by their own service departments or, to team up with local service partner to offer customers a better and more local service.

Rzeczpospolita reports, quoting unofficial sources, that “Amica will sell its washing machine and refrigerator production plants to Samsung for around zł.200 million.” The manufacturing facilities will continue to produce orders for both of the firms, but will be expanded.

Amica, the largest domestic white goods producer, is contemplating constructing a new production site in Russia within the next two years.
