British Gas facing five strikes

As a follow up to the story earlier in the week, thousands of British Gas engineers are to stage five 24-hour strikes in the run-up to Christmas and after New Year.

British Gas engineers to strike

Engineers at British Gas have voted for strike action in a dispute over the company’s final salary pension scheme. The GMB union said nearly 6,000 engineers, who repair and service domestic boilers, backed the move by a ratio of four to one.
