Over the course of this year we have been contacted by various media outlets over the delays in carrying out modifications to recalled appliances and, the answer is always the same, there simply aren’t enough field technicians to cope with these huge recalls.

As if things weren’t bad enough already for Samsung now their offices in Seoul have been raided in relation to suspected dodgy payments made to the daughter of President Park Geun-hye’s confidante Choi Soon-sil.

Samsung are to voluntarily recall around 2.8 million washing machine models sold in the US and Canada that seem to disintegrate dramatically due to a problem with the suspension system that often people describe as the machine exploding.

Oh the buzz Samsung created around this was brilliant, Samsung’s PR department going into overdrive to tell everyone that they had another smart fridge when we first saw it launched in the USA.

No not actually skipping them although, when you read some of the tales of woe on the internet about Samsung washing machine rattling apart maybe they should consider it but, this is all about dumping products onto the market.

Samsung really isn’t having a fun time at the moment at all after being rocked by the whole Galaxy Note 7 debacle, exploding washing machines and ones that go on fire along with historic exploding fridges they are now accused that they knew about the problem washers, for three years!

Samsung just isn’t getting any respite this past week or so with stuff going wrong for them all over the place with the latest PR disaster coming by way of John McAfee, the internet security guy.

Wow Samsung just can’t seem to catch a break with it’s array of so called exploding products that now extends to washing machines in the USA, Australia and globally with phones.

It seems Samsung just an’t seem to catch a break with appliances going into meltdown, on fire or now self-destructing after a new lawsuit has been filed in the US over “exploding” washing machine models.

Samsung are launching three new ranges of “premium” (Samsung speak) built in appliances it has announced just ahead of the IFA trade show in Berlin that kicks off tomorrow.
