Late last night we learned that Samsung’s head guy Lee Jae-yong was arrested on charges of corruption entailing bribery in South Korea.

Its been reported that Samsung may build a U.S. plant for its home appliances business, a person familiar with the matter said, the latest company to respond to criticism about imports from new President Donald Trump.

Oh dear, can it get any worse for Samsung we’ve been asking and apparently, yes it can get worse as they are apparently not following the rules on their own recall.

Seems Samsung just can’t keep themselves out of the news at the moment and they’re newsworthy for all the wrong reasons with the latest being that as expected, they’re being sued over the faulty washing machines.

Samsung are taking a beating, again, over their safety recall of washing machines in the US with reports surfacing now that the fix, well, it’s not really a fix after all…

Samsung just aren’t having any luck of late, washing machines going on fire in Australia, rattling themselves apart in the US, phones exploding and now their under investigation for corruption, big time.

We picked up on a letter from a reader to the Guardian newspaper this morning about a problem with availability of a spare part used on what is described as a £1700 washing machine so, at that price it has to be one of the connected ones.

Samsung just aren’t giving it up with the notion of a big fridge freezer that has a huge tablet slapped in the door, all to help the owner of course or, is it?

Rumours are swirling that besieged manufacturer Samsung may be forced to split the company up in order to reassure investors after recent disasters with exploding phones and exploding washing machines.

It didn’t take that long, perhaps a little longer than we’d thought but it was almost inevitable that a lawsuit would be launched in the United States over Samsung’s exploding washing machines.
