We came across this concept washing machine over the weekend that whilst nothing startlingly new given that as we’ve said countless times, there’s only so many ways to wash laundry, it is a pleasing design and probably one of the nicest we’ve seen for a while.
Design agency blond appears to have been commissioned to design a futuristic washing machine and, thankfully they didn’t come up with a completely whacky idea but instead this design.
Blond say on the web page (http://blond.cc/work/ripple-washing-machine/) for the machine that they were asked by a confidential client to come up with the design.
We like it.
We really have no idea who was looking to have this done but, in a market saturated by the same thing over and over it isn’t really surprising that somebody would want to at least attempt something a little different.
Now, if they can only make it so that it works well and doesn’t fall apart after a couple of years it could be good.
