Not wanting to be outdone by it’s rival LG, Samsung have also launched a robotic cleaner at this weeks IFA in Berlin, the Furot II. And no, we don’t know what happened to the Furot I.
Samsung revealed its new robot vacuum cleaner and it may remind you of another robot vacuum cleaner, the Roomba because it does look to be yet another clone.

The Furot II has a built-in camera that helps it to avoid obstacles in its path. The camera apparently allows the Furot to be aware of its location. That way it is not going around randomly cleaning, but never goes to the same area twice unless it is needed.
A built-in memory function that works when the Furot II is off also enables the cleaner to “remember” where it was.. So if you have surpassed its 90 minutes worth of cleaning time on the battery, you can recharge it and the Furot will pick up where it left off.
As usual, expect wild claims about how wonderful it is from the Korean manufacturer but, as yet, no pricing or availability has been announced.
