We specialise in supplying Smeg spare parts and can find any Smeg spare part so long as it is still available. And, we can often supply Smeg spares cheaper than you will find them anywhere else.
If you cannot find what you are looking for on the site, the chances are that it’s a part that has very little or no use to date. It does not mean that we do not stock it or cannot get it for you and, as ever, it’s almost always worth asking us for advice and we’d rather you did if you’re even a little unsure.
In order to find Smeg spare parts correctly the first key ingredient is the model number which is more or less essential for virtually all spare parts but, like almost all, increasingly the product code or serial number can also be needed, this isn’t hugely common with Smeg but, it can happen.
People often think that Smeg Spa 42016 is a model, it isn’t, that is Smeg’s Italian company registration number!
This video quickly shows the process for finding a Smeg spare part:

If you see multiple versions of a part being used on the same model number then there will be multiple variants and if you are not sure the best thing to do is find the rating plate, take a photo or all the information from it and send us that. We will then work out what part it is that you need for that particular Smeg product.
Doing it that way, while it takes a little bit longer up front, is a lot less time consuming and hassle than getting the wrong spare part for your Smeg. we are only too happy to help you this way.
Do watch on cookers and others as you will get the like of an SUK61MFX for example, but there can be multiple variants that will have a digit after that, making it SUK61MFX5 and so on. These can be completely different internally and only have some shared components.
Finding Smeg Model Info
Normally these are the most common locations that you will find the model information on most Smeg products as well as product codes, serial numbers and so on for each appliance.
Don’t trust handbooks, user guides, websites and so on as many models, even though they look identical or almost the same can have completely different parts in them. The only reliable place to get the info needed is from the rating plate.
Smeg Washing MachinesFor most washing machines you will find the full and correct model number on the rating plate that will normally be inside the front door on a small sticker or plate or behind the filter flap on some, it can vary but it’s always normally accessible easily. The more information you can give us from there in terms of model, serial, service and production codes, the faster and more accurately we will be able to find parts for you. |
|
Smeg Tumble DryersMuch like washing machine models, the information is normally easily accessible inside the door, sometimes in other places but this is rare. |

Smeg DishwashersAgain, always easily accessible and almost always around the door so that you can access this information easily. Most dishwashers will have the model number around the door lip. When you pull the door down, around the edge where it’s usually on a plate or stick but can be stamped on the stainless feel inner door as well. On there you’ll also find any serial number, product code or service number and so on, the more of that we have the faster and more accurately we can find parts for you. |

Smeg Cooker HoodsThings get harder here as the information will often be inside the cooker hood. For most cooker hoods the model, product code and serial information will be on a small sticker on the inside of the hood. If you remove the grease panel filter/s and look up inside the hood you should be able to see that reasonably easily on almost all of them. You might need a torch to see it and do be careful as there can be unfinished sharp edges on some models. That’s the only place that you will get the actual model of the hood you own usually, instruction or handbooks are notoriously unreliable for this as they cover many models and all too often much will not be applicable to the actual model you have in regard to spare parts, filters etc. |

Smeg Ovens And HobsOn most ovens and cookers you will find the model number, product code and serial number on a plate around the door opening on a small plate or sticker around the edge where the door fits to and either the info from there or a photo of it should allow us to track down the correct parts for you. For almost all built-in hobs the only place that you will reliably find the model number and any serial and production codes is on a label, sticker or plate on the underside of the unit. This means that somehow, you need to get to the bottom of the hob by often removing a drawer or oven installed below it in order to access that information. And, that information is often absolutely vital in ensuring that you get the correct parts, guessing or trying to use sizes for most parts won’t work at all. |

Smeg RefrigerationOn most fridges and freezers you’ll find the rating plate on the left-hand side of the inner wall around about the lowest drawer in the unit. On there will be a sticker or plate with all the model, serial and production code info that we’ll often need to find parts, especially where there are multiple variations of a model. For fridge freezers it is the same only it’s virtually always in the fridge, near a salad drawer. For American fridge freezers, the info plate can be in other places but invariably it’s in the fridge section somewhere. |

Rating Plates & What They Mean
The new rating plates and, for many cookers and more, this is vital that you find the oen that looks like this as it is the ONLY one with all the info required for many parts:

What all that means and the important info is:

Below are some other examples of Smeg rating plates to show what you are looking for.

Requesting Smeg Spare Parts
The best, fastest way to find out about Smeg spare parts is by email.
We know that some people are sceptical and perhaps don’t even like using email and would rather use the phone but, on the phone, we cannot send you images, links to parts and you can’t send us images of rating plates etc. So whilst it’s technically possible over the phone to get some parts, it is not as accurate, not as fast and not as convenient for you.
Email is just a better way.
|
Sending us an email to request parts or sending us an image of the rating plate of your appliance is simple, just click this link to do that or the email button to the right. Just let us know what product it is and what you need for it. We’ll do the rest from there for you or let you know what additional info is needed. We will get back to you quickly, always. Where we can we will offer any choices, compatible spare parts etc along with any advice we can give. It really is that simple. |
Important Information
To get to the part number is the most important thing to be doing as, from that you can then cross reference, find any alternative parts and so on as well as ensuring the part you get is correct.
Keep in mind that many, many spare parts are about the same size, look the same but this does not in any way mean that you can fit any as the differences are often slight but, means that they are not interchangeable. So, following the path here from the full model and serial number and to the part number is the only way to ensure you get the correct spare part for your Smeg appliance.
There are often scores of versions of a single part, things can change and it can be very confusing, we’re here to help you through that and to prevent errors.
Guessing, using images alone and ordering because parts look like what you need, trying to measure things are by far and away the most common reasons that people get parts wrong. Please don’t do this as it’s hassle and cost you don’t want or need, it’s better to take the time and do it right the first time than try to fix it later.
All the more so as Smeg will regularly change some parts meaning that they may not look exactly the same as the original part so it is vital to follow the path as explained or, you run the risk of ordering incorrect parts and, we don’t want that so please check and/or ask if you’re even slightly unsure.
