Stylish kitchen appliances are often a popular choice, with one expert suggesting this week that good looking units can “sell big on looks alone”.
In a blog for the Appliances 180 website, it was noted that a new range of cookers, dishwashers and microwaves from California-based Dacor were enough to impress with their “super modern” design and high-tech performance.
In particular, it was stated that the discreet dishwashers and easy to hide microwaves could convince many consumers to reach for their wallet and that the appliances could appeal primarily for their ability to blend in to any modern kitchen.
“Imagine a microwave that is hidden from view, arranged in a discreet way “¦ after you see one of these microwaves for yourself, you’ll wonder why nobody came up with the idea sooner,” the blog states.
Dacor began life as a small store in northern California where its proprietor Stan Joseph worked toward the invention of the first complete kitchen ventilation system as well as the first indoor electric barbecue.
