You may have noticed that last night UK Whitegoods passed 10 million page views, a little over a week after our third birthday! Yet again the popularity of the site has exceeded all expectations.
It seemed a long time ago that I wrote about the site passing five million page views which, at the time, seemed staggering beyond belief that we had accomplished that in little over two years, yet here we are not a year later and we’ve exceeded in under a year what took over two to accomplish beforehand. Amazing really.
Of course probably the largest reason for this is the sense of community amongst the engineers and the fact that they, almost without exception, will welcome anyone to the site and try to help people wherever they can. This allows the site and industry to offer an unbiased and broad range of opinion on our industry and, we think, that it is by far the best quality of help and support on offer today in the domestic appliance industry.
But there’s more to UK Whitegoods than just that. A lot more!
We’ve tried to support and help the independent repairers behind the scenes as you all know, steering work to help you and your business both today and for the future.
For end users we offer support in many areas, not least of which is the free advise available throughout the site and in the forums, but also in the supply of spare parts which are often the more difficult ones to find.
All these things and a lot more besides continues to make UK Whitegoods popular and sees the site going from strength to strength, helping a lot of people along the way and that simple little statement that, we help people, is what has driven us and will continue to drive us towards the next milestone that we reach.
As ever the directors would like to thank all the staff, moderators and members for the support that you give us in what we do, without the people behind the scenes much of what you see, read and enjoy from UK Whitegoods would not be here.
