You may have noticed that a short time ago that the Page Views counter rolled round past one million views.
To say we’re pleased with that would be a bit of an understatement, it is absolutely phenomenal to have that kind of response from both the trade and public alike and shows that there is indeed an interest in the industry. What makes this all the more remarkable is that it has been achieved in just over a year from launch.
When UK Whitegoods was started it was never envisaged that the site would become as popular as it has done with such high ratings on Google and Alexa as well as other search engines, or that what has been achieved was even possible.
Thus far we’ve even held two meetings and are in the planning stages of the third national meeting, a fantastic acievement in such a short space of time.
Again my thanks goes to the tireless efforts of the repairers and manufacturers, insurers and work providers that use and post to the site’s forums. The input is highly valued and appreciated and, without you the site would be much reduced in its value to both the trade and public alike.
Even some of the articles are starting to be written by members of the trade to try to help the general public, which is great. Check out Penguin45’s “General Principles” series of articles on appliances in the “Self-Help” section of “Articles”.
However this does not detract from the fact that the admin team are simply gobsmacked at the way the site has grown in the past few months, let alone the past year. Many thanks to those that have chosen to use and participate in UK Whitegoods.
Once again, here’s looking forward to a better future in the industry and I do hope that UK Whitegoods serves to further improve the trade.
Wow! Well done to Ken and the team at UKWG. It”s been an amazing first year and to become such a success story in such a short space of time is a testament to the amount of time and effort you guys have put it!
