Ukwhitegoods presentations sessions will resume on the 13th and 14th of September with a re-visit to the London area. The venues will be within the M25 in four strategic locations so that every whitegoods business in the area has the opportunity to attend with very little travelling.
The sessions are now to be offered to the independent retail-only sector so that sales and office staff have a working knowledge of detergents and how the various ingredients work
“We’ve learned that actually knowing how things work increases customer satisfaction, minimises any customer issues on performance questions and increases the customer’s confidence in the person advising.”
Kenneth Watt, MD UKWhitegoods
The format, is as ever, very informal with the main information on detergents being sponsored by Proctor and Gamble who have also supplied generous samples of their products.
Independent Service Engineering also support the sessions and there is an opportunity for examination of their ISE brand washing machine. A machine that is exclusive to the independent sector.
“The idea, ISE director Dave Conway told ERT Weekly, is to allow the seller of the appliance to install it, repair it under guarantee and keep the customer for the life of the machine”
Rob Dray and George Downes, UKWhitegoods’ technical advisors will also be happy to answer any questions relating repairs@, the free on-line customer/repairer referral system, UKW-networks and any other general questions about the company.
What the trade is saying:
“Can’t teach old new tricks!!!!! Oh yes you can, just finished course with George Downes, very informative surprising what I have forgotten, guys if you can spare the time give UK a ring no pressure, good course worthwhile thanks George & UK waiting for next one.”
“Many, many thanks to Sean Delaney and Rob Dray for a superb presentation today. Good work!!! So nice to see there is still life and passion left in this business – and the rebuilding of the community spirit that made this industry so interesting in the past. UKW is the only way we as individuals can redress the balance against the mercenary manufacturers and ruthless multiples.”
“Thanks George for an excellent evening. Just goes to show how much I knew about detergents. Just read through the guide this morning it makes even more sense.”
“Thanks UKW for the freebies. I shall wear my polo shirt and fleece with pride. The powder went down well at home too.”
