The idea of ultrasonic cleaning for laundry has been around for decades, we first heard about it in the 1980’s but it seems to have had a surprising return to the fore.
An Indiegogo campaign has been launched to seek funding to produce Dolfi, a small portable ultrasonic cleaner designed primarily for travel and cleaning delicate items. It’s actually not a bad idea in our estimation as, if nothing else, it highlights that delicates should be washed separately from normal laundry.
It is however worth noting that these devices are unsuitable for large loads so, it won’t be replacing your washing machine anytime soon.
