Would someone hack into an ancient toploader, install a network connection and associate electronics, a dodgy looking PSU to power that lot and then a switch to detect the state of the machine and then a big illuminated sign as well as reporting the wash was done on “Twitter”!
Personally I can’t see a lot of washing machine owners going for the dorm room experience of the big sign and, I suspect, there’s there’s not too many washing machine users that will sign up to Twitter just to get a report on their washing. But there again, perhaps I’m a little too 20th century to fully appreciate the wonders of this “improvement”.
