Whirlpool Corporation today announced the appointment of Jack Simmons as vice president in charge of corporate tax, effective June 28.
Simmons comes to Whirlpool from R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company in Chicago, where he also was vice president for tax.
Before joining R.R. Donnelley, North America’s leading printing company, Simmons worked for Monsanto, Fisher Controls International, Inc., and General Dynamics.
“It is my pleasure to welcome Jack Simmons to Whirlpool,” said Steve Barrett, Whirlpool’s executive vice president and chief financial officer. “Jack brings more than 30 years of experience in the tax arena with top companies, and we look forward to the immediate impact of his leadership and knowledge.”
