ParticipantHiya i have had this machine now for about a year and have not been able to fault it in any way…….until the last few days ive noticed in the drawer that the tablets are not being taken through fully and loads are being left behind in the drawer.
I have cleaned it out spotless and also cleaned the top but still the same, it is however taking the fabric conditioner with no problems. Hope someone can help as this is driving me mad!!!! 👿February 2, 2006 at 1:11 pm #163081Dave_Conway

Have you changed to a different tablet recently ?
Some dissolve much more efficiently than others 🙂
It may be worth checking the upper part again and give it a good scrub with an old toothbrush around all the small holes. Other than that, low water pressure on the hot side may be causing it.

Yes ive changed the tablets 3 times now and it still happens, i have just cleaned it again with buds and a old toothbrush, i did notice that the top part does pull away and click back into place so thats been cleaned as well now!
I looked when the draw was out and the water is going through all the holes perfectly so i dont know what to do other than use the tablets you put in the drum?I am putting them in the correct part arnt i? ive got 3 section to the draw, i use the first for tablets-middle for softner- whats the other one for?
thanks in advance x 🙄February 2, 2006 at 2:20 pm #163083Dave_Conway

Yes, left hand for powder and tablets, this is where the hot water inlet is directed and I think is the problem (as first reply).
Check the hot water pressure/flow to the machine 🙂

Hi
You will find the Aeriel tablest will give the best wash result and will dissolve very efficiently compared to some other brands.Greg

KeymasterAriel tablets are the ONLY tablets that can be used in the drawer, any others will not dissolve and will require the use of a net/bag in the drum.

ParticipantRe: Bosch exxcel 1400 express
Depends on wash selected. If you choose a low temp then yes it will put cold in first to avoid damaging garments; if you choose a hot wash it will fill with hot.
The new excells are a cold fill only.Hope that helps.
Greg
PS The aeriel tablets will dissolve efficiently in hot or cold water 😉

Absolutely correct, in fact (though you didn’t give us the model number of your machine) it probably doesn’t have a hot supply connected to it?
Ariel Tablets are certain to solve the problem for you by the way 😉

I used Daz tablets in the drawer for years without problems, in a bungalow with moderate hot water pressure. Now use Ariel for slightly better wash performance. 🙂

I’m very puzzled by this 😕
I wish you would let us have the model number of your machine(Enr number) as I would love to solve this problem for you 🙂

KeymasterRe: Bosch exxcel 1400 express
If the Ariel tabs are not disolving then it can only really be a water pressure problem or the dispenser jets are clogged. Happens a lot in “peaty” areas up here.
