Beko has become one of the most rapidly rising companies in the Turkish electronics industry, according to Beko Electronic Co. Manager Oğuzhan Öztürk.
While at the International Electronics Fair (IFA) in Berlin over the weekend, noted that Beko had created a great synergy upon merging with Arcelik, a move which he said resulted in a significant improvement in the company’s customer services.
Mr. Öztürk said there was an increase of 80 percent in notebook sales as compared to 2006, adding that Beko’s sales in the first six months of 2007 were higher than its total sales in 2006. Mr Öztürk also emphasized they recently began exporting notebooks and that Russia was currently their top buyer. He also said that three new products had been introduced in the fair. “The first one is a product featuring a new television system called “˜full motion’ that removes image distortion during action scenes. The second involves a sound system which rotates sound waves to provide a more refined sound to the viewer. The third new product is a TV that supports i-Pods,” he said.
