KeymasterHi,
As a new user of this site im hoping someone can help me.i have a RS21DCSV the freezer has decided not to freeze properly after the power was knocked off on the unit. the fridge
It has taken 24hrs to get to -10C.Also the water tank keeps on freezing up when i put the fridge on 5degC this is easily rectified with a heater in the fridge blasted on the tank for a few mins

Hi people, just to let you know i found out why the freezer was not working, i took the cover off the back of the freezer inside and found that it was frozen up fully so it could not get the air flow into the freezer im just not sure why it has done this any ideas?

Extensively documented throughout this form, Nick. If you want a permanent solution, you need to buy one of these:
http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … ath=27_135Subtley different – drain hole is larger for instance – and a fix that works.

Hi guys,
right i have tested the heaters and they are at 1269 ohms for the drain heater and 245 phms for the evaporator heater?
the thermal fuse seems not to have a circuit through it which i take it is bad? does anyone know where i can get a new thermal fuse?December 9, 2006 at 9:24 am #195970admin

Hi again do these readings seem ok for the heaters?
Just i have an engineer coming todayh and i would like to be able to tell him what is wrong?December 9, 2006 at 9:28 am #195971clivejameson
ParticipantRe: Samsung RS21DCSV freezer not working right
Yep….those readings are about right 😉
If the thermal fuse is O/C than that’s where your problem lies.
