Maytag. Consumer Class Action Filed on behalf of consumer purchasers of the Maytag Washing machine, Neptune series by Law Firm of Sheller Ludwig & Badey.
Complaint alleges that Maytag Corporation knowingly sold wasing machines that were defective and unworkable. The complaint states that, 1) Mold & mildew growth. 2) Door latch failure. 3) Control board failures. The Class action also contends that the Neptune series, specifically, ” that they fail at unacceptably high rates, are inherently defective and unreliable are not of merchantable quality.” Neptune Model series MAH3000, MAH4000, MAH5500, MAH6500, & MAH7500. This comes straight on the back of numbers released by Harry Cichy, over the infamous Hoover flight promotion of 855,913 vouchers sent into Hoover.
