Beko reported to be set to move into the small appliance market with the Turkish owned Company tipped to roll out the Grundig appliance brand in Australia via an exclusive deal with NARTA.
We don’t know yet whether these small appliances will also be coming to the UK (or the rest of Europe) but it would be hard to imagine that they wouldn’t. After all, why go to all the trouble to just sell them in Australia, especially given the investment required and the ease with which they could be adapted for European use?
Beko CEO Hakan Bulgurlu said that for the first time Beko is set to move into the small appliance market with both Beko and Grundig branded appliances.
The new range will include vacuum cleaners, coffee machines, as well as a Turkish coffee machines and irons.
Under the Grundig brand the Company globally will also launch a new smart home concept called HomeWhiz according to Bulgurlu.
The concept controls all Grundig appliances from refrigerators, to washing machines and dryers and ovens.
The Grundig range apparently consists of over 500 products.
