We’re a bit perplexed by this news, Dyson has opened a store on London’s famous Oxford Street to allow people to stop in, try and buy Dyson stuff.
The store is reported to be a permanent thing that Dyson hopes will allow people to find out about the science of the Dyson product range and try them out.
We can’t help but think from the images that we’ve seen that the store is a sort of copy of Apple stores with the layout and general presentation inside the store.
Perhaps Dyson is trying to mimic Apple with direct stores and rumours swirling of an electric car on the way from the British company but somehow, we can’t see this working in the longer term although it may work as an advertising function.
