Dyson has come up with a new vacuum cleaner, the PencilVac with what can only be regarded as some new innovations built into it.

This proved to be a very intersting outcome to Channel 4’s investigation into work practicess at Dyson’s production facilities and the subsequent defamation action taken by Dyson against Channel 4. 

Dyson is reportedly shedding up to 1000 UK jobs but says that it is part of a global workforce review and not tied to the UK election, Brexit etc. 

Yes a Chinese company has made knock offs of Dyson’s iconic stick cleaners have emerged and are proving to be a big hit in some regions, we’ve seen them for sale in the UK now at a fraction of Dyson’s prices.

Seems all is not so great with Dyson right now as it’s experienced a bunch of staff leaving, so we’re told anyway with the latest leave the high profile Matt Broadway who was Dyson’s group commercial director to rival Shark.

We’re a bit perplexed by this news, Dyson has opened a store on London’s famous Oxford Street to allow people to stop in, try and buy Dyson stuff.

Dyson has lost its bid to change European energy labelling laws, Sir James Dyson arguing that vacuum cleaners were only tested when they were empty of dust.

Samsung has filed a lawsuit seeking £5.6 million in compensation from Dyson in a patent row over a vacuum cleaner mechanism.

Dyson has announced a new range of cleaners that gets rid filters altogether, meaning that you never have to do anything other than clean your floors and carpets.

This is not recommended to repeat this experiment with a Dyson vacuum cleaner at home given that it is dangerous and, we’d be willing to bet that it wouldn’t be covered under the warranty.
