Seems all is not so great with Dyson right now as it’s experienced a bunch of staff leaving, so we’re told anyway with the latest leave the high profile Matt Broadway who was Dyson’s group commercial director to rival Shark.
This while Dyson is are getting into court (again, yes, we know) over claims that Shark’s cleaners are more powerful than Dyson’s.
So it’s off to the high court they go.
Of course, the pair has already been involved in legal battles in the US but now they’re set to tussle in a UK court. Joy for all we’re sure, especially the solicitors who can look forward to a payday regardless of the result. Meanwhile, the rest of us simply don’t care.
Shark though are being pretty bullish with their statement hat says:
“We aim to become the UK market leader in vacuum cleaner products and are investing heavily in engineering and technology so we can give consumers a real choice of premium products specifically designed for British homes.
“I want to reinforce Ninja’s position as the leading motorised blender and cooking brand in the UK, the first choice for kitchen counter-top products and state of the art kitchen system appliances. Our products are designed to make our customers’ lives easier and we see a real opportunity to achieve significant growth in this market”.
Guess we’ll just have to sit back, watch the fireworks and see what happens.
