It isn’t too often that we see new products that are actually interesting so it’s nice to see something new every now and then and this is, but it ain’t cheap!
GE Appliances (now owned by Chinese company Haier) has launched a handbill pizza oven for US homes. Yeah we know it’s US only and won’t fit in a normal European kitchen but it’s cool until you find out that the cost is about $9000 or a bit over £7000 in our money.
You need to be really, really keen on your pizza to be being one in other words and, you can probably buy a full blown commercial pizza oven for less. Which kinda makes this a daft idea in some ways.
But regardless of what we think about all that, apparently over 100 people have signed up to buy on in the US.
We know it’s madness, we know it makes no sense but oh how we long for one… pizza… beer…
