LG have unveiled a new range of fridge freezers for the European market, focusing on energy efficiency, smart features, and space-saving designs.
The lineup introduces both French door and standard fridge freezer models, with features tailored specifically for European buyers and kitchens. LG have apparently done a lot of local research that has affected the product development, reflecting the practical requirements and preferences of European households.
Energy efficiency is a major theme, with the fridge freezer model claimed to exceed the highest “A” energy rating by 40%, while the French door model achieves the “A” rating. These improvements, LG say, are due to insulation improvements and AI-based technology that optimises compressor operation by learning usage patterns, reducing power consumption during low use periods.

Of course, no new self-respecting new product is complete without some obligatory “AI” features including AI Fresh, which monitors door openings and lowers the temperature before predicted high usage to help maintain food freshness, and an “AI Saving Mode”, which adapts cooling performance in response to user habits.
