A new robot named “Koolio” could be the perfect gift for those who want a servant for little cost. University of Florida engineers designed Koolio, which is a robot refrigerator that is able to bring food with the click of a button.
Koolio uses batteries to power the computer and keep the fridge cool.
The robot has sensors to help it get around. Students say that Koolio would work perfectly in the office.
“It can travel around offices and deliver coffee to people in the morning and deliver donuts, but it would be more appealing to me if at my house sitting on the couch. I can hit a button and Kollio brings me a cold beer,” said one of the student engineers.
Engineers still have some work to do on Koolio to make it available in the next couple of years.
