REFRIGERATION maker Lec has revealed it intention to focus on commercial products, in an attempt to halt consistent losses.
Lec, which is based in Bognor Regis, West Sussex, has made massive losses, losing parent company – the Malaysian conglomerate Sime Darby – around £55 million in the nine years since it took over the company.
Now, after a 10-year restructuring process, which has seen the company consolidate on to one site; and a £2.6m investment into a new factory, the company is looking to grow by driving its commercial business.
