TOP electrical appliance manufacturer Electrolux has introduced a new vacuum cleaner, the Ergospace series, which it claims will simplify cleaning to a large extent.
This is simply due to features such as a nine-metre cable instead of the usual seven metres, allowing for a 12-metre cleaning radius and therefore reducing the need to plug and unplug the cord from room to room, a patented “s-bag system” to prevent dust from escaping, plus the use of the HEPA H12 filter, Electrolux Home Appliances Sdn Bhd said in a statement.
The world’s largest producer of powered home appliances, for both indoor and outdoor use, said additional features included an innovation called “Ergoshock”, meant to protect the vacuum cleaner from bumps as well as prevent making marks on walls and furniture, a new hose storage system, and a “tools-on-board” system for storing accessories.
Currently available in all major retail stores and at Electrolux dealers, the Ergospace series comes in two models, the ZE2250 retailing at RM555 and the ZE2264 costing RM600.
The Electrolux group sells more than 55 million products in 150 countries for both consumer and professional use and includes well-known brands like AEG, Zanussi, Frigidaire, Eureka and Husqvarna in its stable.
