ParticipantWas working fine last night. The Smaller top oven and grill works fine. I have turned off the power and reset the oven clock to hopefully rule out timer.when I turn the power knob for lower oven, the green light does not illuminate on any of the settings The fan does not operate and the internal lights don’t illuminate, the red light alongside the temperature knob flickers occasionally when turning the power knob between settings. Any help or advise would be appreciated.

Moderatorwell it has very poor diagrams and since it has chinese writing on the circuit it looks to be chinese built
probably going to be one of 2 things
1 timer it could still be a relay failure in the timer stopping power
2 multi bank switch that contols the oven
as for part nos am stuck as none are listed. if you need any we just have to hope candy ( now Haier) can supply them as they bought Baumatic out

ParticipantThanks Dave, my first thought was the switch , as I turn it slowly between the various settings the red LED which is normally lit until the selected temperature is reached flickers dimly.

ParticipantHi Dave, I have removed the oven top today to look at the switch, there are signs of burning around pin / connector P8, I’ve taken a few pictures of the switch but having looked online for a replacement the numbers etched into the plastic don’t seem to match anything I find online, any advice appreciated.

Sorry about that – I think we need a photo then to help identify it.
