ClickSoftware, provider of end-to-end service optimisation solutions, has entered into a contract for the deployment of its ServiceOptimization Suite to Electrolux Home Products Europe.
Electrolux Home Products Europe will initially implement ClickSoftware’s ClickSchedule solution for the optimised scheduling and street-level routing of their field service resources across Germany, with hopes of eventually rolling out across the rest of the world.
ClickSoftware’s ServiceOptimization Suite was selected following a thorough competitive evaluation. One of the key considerations in the selection process was the superb dynamic scheduling capabilities of ClickSchedule which allows real-time optimisation of customer responsiveness and resource utilisation. It will provide a seamless solution to Electrolux’s CRM solution, says ClickSoftware. The scope of the project will involve a number of areas of service activity, including new installations, maintenance and repair of consumer white goods.
‘We are excited about our new partnership with ClickSoftware,’ said Rogerio Rodriques, Electrolux European service operations director. ‘ClickSoftware have demonstrated that their solution can cover our requirements and this will help us manage our field service team to provide even better support to our customers.’
The ServiceOptimization Suite will enable Electrolux Home Products Europe to improve the efficiency of its field service operation and response time to customer service requests. The enterprise-wide service optimisation solution intelligently schedules jobs, based on a variety of user-defined parameters, such as customer availability, engineer skills, territory, availability and priority of the job.
Electrolux Home Products Europe and its customers will benefit from reliable appointment slots, reduction in the total mileage travelled, reduction in overtime and ensuring they have the resources to complete the service calls.
‘Being selected by a world leader such as Electrolux demonstrates again our capability to address the needs of large scale, intensive and dynamic service operations,’ said Dr Moshe BenBassat, CEO of ClickSoftware. ‘Version 7 of our software is now in use by many world leaders, including Telstra, Philips Medical and Unisys.
‘Our solutions allow these companies to offer real-time appointment booking to their customers, while continually monitoring and optimising their resource allocation decisions in order to generate the most productivity out of their capacity.’
