Obviously not wishing to be left out of the seemingly mad rush towards Poland to build appliances, South Korean conglomerate Daewoo wants to invest 100 million zlotys in Poland to build a refrigerator factory, newspaper Rzeczpospolita reported on Today but giving no sources.
Daewoo is looking for land in southeast Poland to build a plant that will produce refrigerators for exports to Western Europe as well as Russia and the Ukraine, the newspaper reported.
‘We have investment plans on the Polish market,’ Jerzy Borowik, a director at Daewoo Electronics Polish unit told Rzeczpospolita in an interview. He declined to elaborate any further.
