D&G has announced the winners of its tenth Total Excellence and Quality Awards (TEQ) 2007. Over 3.5m questionnaires have been sent out since the awards began and the survey, believed to be the largest of its kind, has given awards to manufacturers and to independent repairers in white goods, home entertainment and heating. Criteria include how politely and efficiently the initial call requesting the repair was handled and how efficient, punctual and courteous the repair engineer was whilst in the customer’s home – in short the whole customer experience.
White Goods Winners
1st – DAR, Rotherham
2nd – Jim Grice, Nottingham
3rd – Appliance Engineers, Braintree, Essex
Low volume
1st(highly com) – DRA, Dundee (which has won nine awards in ten years!)
2nd (com) – JST Appliance Repairs, Norwich
An honorary award was also given to GT Electrical for their consistently high placement in the awards throughout the past ten years.
