D&G Acquired By Asurion

Domestic & General (D&G) has changed hands again; this time it’s been acquired by Asurion, a US warranty company that’s pretty big in the tech space across the pond.

DAG Sale Back On

It looks as if the sale of Domestic & General may be back on as it has been reported that the private equity company CVC Capital Partners (CVC) is engaged in discussions with the Advent International in the US, to acquire the British home appliance warranty company.

Domestic & General To Get New Owners

Sky News reports that an American private equity group has made an offer to buy Domestic & General (D&G) which is one of Britain’s biggest providers of warranties for domestic appliances if not one of the largest in Europe.

D&G Signs Pact With Indesit

In a press release Domestic & General has signed a deal with Indesit to exclusively provide warranty cover across Europe for the Italian company that makes Indesit, Hotpoint, Ariston and other brands of appliances.
