There’s been rumours for months now that Dyson was going to resurect the Contrarotator washing machine with not-so-subtle hints being dropped all over the place by none other than James Dyson himself in the press.
This morning I came across a couple of articles that seem to indicate that the machine is available again.
According to an article on Gizmodo the machine has been launched today. Strange I thought, so I checked and re-checked the date, but no we haven’t slipped back in time at all, it really was published this morning.
Weird, usually the trade would know about a launch in advance so I thought it was a mistake.
So I followed the links and sniffed about, finding that Appliancist also listed this as a news item this morning, very odd.
Both sites seem to be US, or at least leaning towards a US audience which makes me wonder, as there is a dollar value given, if Dyson have started to sell the washer in the US.
And if you poke about Dyson’s site you will still find the washing machine listed there.
So, maybe it’s back, maybe it’s not.
