Michael Treschow, chairman of the board of directors of Electrolux, informed the nomination committee that he will not stand for re-election at the company’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) in April 2007.
“After having served in the roles of president and CEO, board member and chairman over the last 10 years at Electrolux, I have decided to step aside at the end of the current term,” Michael Treschow said. “I am very pleased with the company’s current strategy and I am convinced that Electrolux is on the right track and headed in the right direction, so I am comfortable passing the reins to my successor.”
